I didn't like the beginning of the book where Lachlain's feelings for Emma seem so violent. I half expected him to rape her in a couple of scenes. The best part was at the end when Emma finally takes control over her own life and is finally able to stand up to not only her family, but also her long-lost father. I look forward to another of her books that I have ready to go; No Rest for the Wicked. This is simply a blog featuring reviews I've written for books that I've read, every single book I've read in the last three years, plus a few brief notes on books I read before I joined Goodreads (which is when I started to take my reviewing seriously).
